Fished here last night until the storm rolled through. My friend and I caught bluegills and bass. Biggest bass was 18", lots of 15" as well.
I kept 6 of the smaller ones for a fish fry. We caught the bass on a whacky worm and crawlers, and a couple on topwater baits as well. Actually you can walk on to mud lake if you really want to fish it You can walk on from Marsh Woods Park. There are many mowed paths in that park. There is parking and park access at the dead end of Johnson St.
